Common questions

FAQ

Plain English answers about Bleedpoint, the audit, pricing, and security.

About Bleedpoint

When does Bleedpoint launch?

Bleedpoint is in the final stages of pre-launch — the audit engine is built and the security review is in progress. We’re finalizing our Stripe App before opening to customers.

If you’d like to be notified the moment audits open, join the waitlist on the homepage. You’ll get one email at launch and nothing else — no marketing list, no follow-ups.

What is Bleedpoint?

Bleedpoint is a free revenue-leak scan for your Stripe account. We scan against fifty-plus checks across five leak categories — failed payments, deprecated pricing, involuntary churn, zombie subscriptions, and discount leakage — and show you exactly how much you’re leaking, for free. Unlock the full itemized report for $99 to see every finding and how to fix it.

Who is Bleedpoint for?

Subscription businesses on Stripe with at least a few hundred active customers. If you have under a hundred subscriptions, your leaks are usually small enough to find manually. Above that, the math starts to add up fast and an audit pays for itself many times over.

What billing platforms do you support?

Today, Stripe. Chargebee, Recurly, and Paddle are on the roadmap. If you’re on a platform we don’t support yet and want to be notified when we add it, email hello@bleedpoint.com.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

The scan is free. The full itemized report is a one-time $99 unlock. Optional continuous monitoring is $29/month — most people run the free scan first and decide from there.

Is the scan really free?

Yes. The scan runs against your real Stripe data and shows your measured leak total at no charge. You only pay $99 if you want the full itemized report and the fixes. The free scan is the proof — you see your number before you pay anything. See the refund policy for details on the $99 unlock.

Do I need to subscribe to monitoring?

No. The $99 report is a one-time unlock — you get the report, fix what you want, and move on. Monitoring is optional, for customers who want continuous coverage: scheduled re-scans, alerts on new leaks, and trend tracking. Add it any time, cancel any time from your dashboard.

What do I actually pay for?

The scan is free and shows your real leak total and categories. You pay $99 only if you want the full itemized report — the exact customers and subscriptions affected, and how to fix each one. If the scan finds nothing meaningful, you’ve spent nothing.

Security & access

Is this safe? What can Bleedpoint do to my account?

Bleedpoint requests read-only access to your billing platform. We can read invoices, subscriptions, customers, and charges. We cannot create or modify anything — no charges, no refunds, no pricing changes, no customer edits. You can revoke our access from your Stripe dashboard at any time, and the audit itself never moves money.

Why read-only access?

Because the audit doesn’t need write access to do its job. Read-only is the lowest privilege level we can request, which keeps your account safe regardless of what happens on our side. If we were ever compromised, the worst case is read access to your billing data — no funds at risk.

Where is my data stored?

All audit data is stored in AWS us-east-2 (Ohio) inside CloudSec Global LLC’s infrastructure. Encrypted at rest, encrypted in transit. Audit results are retained for ninety days unless you request earlier deletion. Full details in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

The audit

How long does the audit take?

Most accounts complete in three to five minutes. Larger accounts (10,000+ active subscriptions) can take up to fifteen. You’ll get an email when your report is ready — you don’t need to keep the browser open.

Will you tell me how to fix the leaks?

Yes. Every finding in your report includes the recommended remediation — whether that’s a setting to change, a Stripe Smart Retry to enable, a discount to expire, or a customer to migrate. We don’t make the change for you (read-only access), but we tell you exactly where to make it.

What format is the report in?

PDF. Designed to be readable by both engineers and finance teams. Includes an executive summary on page one, prioritized findings by dollar impact, affected account IDs, and remediation steps for each finding. Yours to keep, share, or send to your accountant.

Can I run another audit later?

Yes. Run the free scan again any time. If you fix your leaks and want to verify months later, re-scan and unlock a fresh report for $99. Or subscribe to continuous monitoring at $29/month and we’ll re-scan automatically.
